Psalm 18:2

Watchful Father, our faithful Divine Shepherd,
Who is always attuned to us,
thank You for sending Your care and love to me
through the Holy Spirit
Who dwells within my soul dispensing His Graces.
Physician of my soul, my Eternal Father,
through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ,
be my Deliverer,
accept my sorrow for my sins, forgive all my past sins,
and strengthen me, so that I may sin no more.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
High Deity, Eternal Father, You are fulfilled in Your Triune Oneness;
Your love and peace flows continuously to us through Your
Blessed Trinity of Triune Perfection:   Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we
accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was
wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him
was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are
healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have all turned to our
own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was
oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; like a
lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its
shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
Isaiah 53:4-7
Old Testament Prophecy written 700 years
before the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

We know the answer we can give to this question.  We remember the
words of the priest at our baptism:
"Depart, unclean spirit, and give place to the Holy Spirit."
If, then, we have not fallen into mortal sin, or if, having done so,
we have received absolution and are in a state of grace,
we can reply that we "have received the Spirit."

Nothing is easier to prove than this fact.  Know you would not...  that
the Holy Spirit dwelleth within you?
Your members are  the temples of the Holy Spirit.
We are marked,  and bear within us the pledge of our salvation, the
We are participators  of the Spirit.

St. Bonaventure declares.....  "Man can only be pleasing to God in as
as he receives the Holy Spirit, the uncreated gift.
All those who have an exact idea of what is meant by
sanctifying grace acknowledge that the Holy Spirit, the uncreated
dwells truly in the souls of the just."

Sinners, and even the damned, have near them, and even within
infinite spiritual wealth.
Yet they remain in their poverty,
because this wealth does not belong to them,
while the Christian who is in a state of grace
possesses within him the Holy Spirit, and with that spirit,
a plenitude of celestial graces,
like a treasure of which he is already the proprietor,
and on which he can draw without limit.
Psalm 18:16
He reached down from on high, he took me;
he drew me out of mighty waters.
Raoul Pius, SJ  20th Century
By contrast, the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness,
generosity, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control.
O Eternal Trust, my Father,
to Whom each person is priceless,
place within our hearts a concern for those who are Godless;
let us never cease to pray to You on their behalf;
Generous Father, rescue them, instill
within them a belief in You.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first
heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and the sea was no more.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down
out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne
‘See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
And the one who was seated on the throne said, ‘See, I am
making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this, for these
words are trustworthy and true.’ Then he said to me, ‘It is
done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the
end. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring
of the water of life. Those who conquer will inherit these
things, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the
murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and
all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and
sulphur, which is the second death.’
Revelations 21:1-3; 5-8
Sacred  Father, God of consolations, gaze with mercy on the suffering
people of the world and extend Your healing touch to them;
grant this thru Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who reigns with You and the Holy

he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

answered His people's cries for help.
God, our Father makes Himself known to us,

"Have you received the Spirit?"
were the words of Paul to the Ephesians.

From all eternity
the Father begets a Son similar to himself
and expresses himself and a likeness similar to himself,
and in so doing he expresses the sum total of his potency.

Psalm 145:15
Oh my God, the Trinity whom I adore,
help me to forget myself entirely,
to establish myself in you motionless and tranquil
as if my soul were already in in eternity.
Grant that nothing may trouble my peace or cause me to leave you,
my  Immovable God,
But that each moment may carry me further and further into
the depths of your mystery.

Pacify my soul, make  of it your heaven,
your dwelling place and the place of your repose.
Grant that I may never leave you  there alone,
But that I am to be there entirely,
In all-lively faith,
And entirely abandoned to your creative action.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
so I shall be saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18:3
The Old Testament tells us about God's involvement
with his people.
